Choose the right profile, create a workspace and switch context without mixing records or access.
Personal or corporate?#
Your sign-in identifies you. The active workspace identifies whose information, permissions and subscription you are using. Read the workspace name before entering records or changing a setting.
| Choice | When it fits | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Personal profile | Your own activities and private records. | Uses its own workspace, membership and package. A company administrator does not acquire access to it. |
| Corporate profile | Work belonging to a business or organisation. | Uses the company workspace and its assigned roles. Its people, billing, apps and storage remain separate. |
Switch with confidence#
Open the profile/workspace switcher, review the profile label and choose the workspace you intend to use. Switching changes context; it does not copy documents, share private tasks or transfer a subscription.
An invitation grants a role in the inviting workspace. It does not make the employer the owner of your account or personal profile.
- Confirm the destination name and profile type.
- Switch from the main application when a connected company domain is bound to one workspace.
- Check the active workspace header before adding records, inviting people or starting checkout.
A new profile starts separately#
Creating a corporate profile does not turn existing personal records into company property. Configure the new workspace deliberately and invite only the people who need access. Package allowances apply to each workspace independently.
Use a deliberate migration process when records need to move between businesses. Renaming or switching a workspace is not a data-transfer operation.
Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
