Understand legal identity, tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive prices, registration and local review.

Confirm the business that issues the record#

Use the actual legal seller, country, address and applicable tax-registration identifier. A trading name, profile label or browser country is not a substitute for legal identity.

Related business workflows must agree on the configured seller, country and currency. A change to the interface language does not change those facts.

Tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive prices?#

The applicable rate and registration status must be confirmed deliberately. Selecting a country does not automatically make a business tax-registered or choose a valid rate.

Compare the choices: Tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive prices?
ChoiceWhen it fitsWhat it changes
Tax inclusiveThe entered price already includes the applicable tax.The calculation separates the tax component from that price; do not add the same tax again.
Tax exclusiveThe entered price is before tax.The calculation adds the configured applicable tax to reach the total.
Tax disabledThe supported workflow does not charge tax for the configured business.Does not establish an exemption or override legal duties. Confirm the choice before issuing records.

Country guidance and actual approval#

Country guidance, source exports, local checks, sandbox responses and live government acceptance are distinct states. A generic invoice or receipt is not proof of fiscal certification.

Existing strict statutory-issuance controls continue to apply. Where a required live integration is unavailable, complete the appropriate reviewed external workflow instead of bypassing the control.

Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
